THE GENEROSITY BEHIND Café Joyeux AND THE TRAINING OF TEAM MEMBERS

Since 2017, Café Joyeux has been acting at the heart of our lives to promote the inclusion of people with mental and cognitive disabilities through work, training and meetings.

Café Joyeux is a group of companies structured since its origin in an independent, supportive and totally disinterested way. The Group's companies are fully owned by the Emeraude Solidaire endowment fund, a non-profit organisation that pursues a mission of general interest.

The model thus combines economic growth and common good.

YOUR SUPPORT IS ESSENTIAL

The Emeraude Solidaire endowment fund collects donations from individual benefactors, companies and foundations to train the Merry Men and support the employment of people with mental and cognitive disabilities.

Donations made to the Emeraude Solidaire endowment fund are deductible
66% of income tax and 60% of corporate tax.

THE EMERAUDE SOLIDAIRE ENDOWMENT FUND ACTS IN PARTICULAR FOR :

THE FORMATION OF JOYFUL TEAM MEMBERS

Since 2021, the Centre de Formation des Apprentis Joyeux (CFAJ) has been offering joyful team members the opportunity to prepare for the State-recognised Catering Agent diploma (level 3) on a sandwich course for two years.

The training provided by the CFAJ is unique and focuses on the value of in-company experience. It offers on-the-job training (FAST) delivered by the managers of the cafés-restaurants, and is fully adapted to people with mental and cognitive disabilities.

Your support is needed to fund the training of team members, to enable them to improve their skills and increase their employability.

THE OPENING OF NEW Café Joyeux shops

Today, 129 team members are employed in our 15 Cafés Joyeux, in France and abroad. Café Joyeux wishes to enable more people with mental and cognitive disabilities to obtain stable employment in a mainstream environment, and to regain a smile and self-confidence.

Our ambition is to have 30 café-restaurants open and employ 300 happy team members on permanent contracts by 2025.

Today, 11 projects are underway in Lille, Angers, Marseille, Toulouse, Boulogne-Billancourt, Dijon, Strasbourg, Brest and Nice.

We need your generosity to finance the investments needed for all these openings. Once open, the cafés will be self-financing in the third year of their operation.
